Support Services for Start-Ups

The hub provides members of the space access to tools and opportunities to grow their ventures including incubation, coaching, mentorship, start-up capital and entrepreneurship grants as non-equity. The Hub also collaborates with local and International partners in the ecosystem to support its incubatees for later stages of post revenue and growth in order to accelerate their start-up companies.

Start-Up Capital and Entrepreneurship Grants

As we strive to build businesses from ideation to market ready products, The hub provides non equity grants to start-ups and entrepreneurs to create prototypes, MVP's and to accelerate their products to the market.

Ifakara Community Outreach Programs

From time to time the Hub provides awareness to the community for the existing services and facility to establish sustainable innovations driven by market needs and selection of innovators to enter into the Hub's pipeline to provide the needed support to kick start their businesses.

Entrepreneurship in Residence Program (EiR)

The Hub hosts an innovation exchange program through its network partners. Currently the EiR program hosts at least 3 start-ups every year with our partner, EssentialTech Center of EPFL. This program allows selected start-ups from the Hub's project pipeline to benefit from a three months stay in Switzerland where they receive training, meet other local entrepreneurs, coaches & mentors and have the opportunity to work on their projects in terms of business aspects and product development.
